5 Harry Potter Spinoff Films They Should Make

2. Quidditch Through The Ages

The Elder Wand Voldemort
Warner Bros.

Quidditch is one of the most endearing parts of the Wizarding World. Rowling has created a sport that even typically non sporty Potterheads want to play.

However, because Harry, Ron, and Hermione are trying to save the world, Quidditch is only ever a subplot at most. In a few of the books, it’s written out entirely so the focus can be on defeating Voldemort. Quidditch has even less screen time in the films, with only one full match shown.

A film entirely focused on Quidditch would allow us to explore it in more detail. We could follow, for example, the Chudley Cannons, Ron’s favourite team, as they finally fly to a winning season after a long history of losing. In film, fantasy and sports don’t cross over often, but a high profile Quidditch movie could change that, giving birth to a brand new subgenre.
