5 Huge Spider-Man: Homecoming Mistakes That Far From Home Must Avoid

1. No Spider-Sense

No matter how great Spider-Man: Homecoming truly was, there was one issue just too major for some fans to overlook, mainly because they found it downright baffling - and that issue was Peter Parker's apparent lack of Spider-Sense. Yep, that's right, Spidey's greatest asset, a staple of his comic book legacy, was seemingly non-existent in his first major offering as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

What makes it all worse is that the very next time we saw Peter in Avengers: Infinity War, his Spider-Sense was immediately set off, as the hair on his arms stood up in response to the arrival of Thanos' alien friends.

This, of course, contradicts everything we saw in Homecoming as, during the film's closing battle, Peter was unable to detect the immediate danger when the Vulture attempted to trap him under a pile of rubble. Furthermore, he didn't even notice that Ned or Aunt May were in the vicinity when he entered his bedroom wearing his Spider-Man outfit.

Let's hope that Far From Home chooses to further develop what we saw in Infinity War, allowing Peter to make better use of his comic-book abilities, because it doesn't matter how cool his technology is, the fact of the matter remains that Spider-Man's greatest asset has always been his spider sense.
