5. Lewis & Clark The Spacecraft (Event Horizon)
I didn't want to focus too much on vehicles of any kind, as I think it's probably the most common source of objects with human names (not that I can think of many non-sentient examples in movies), so this will be the only one on the list. It doesn't have any sentience, so it counts! The Lewis and Clark was the rescue ship that was dispatched to answer a distress signal received from the titular
Event Horizon - a starship that had disappeared during its maiden voyage to the red dwarf star Proxima Centauri seven years prior. Of course, when the Lewis and Clark's crew reaches the Event Horizon, they discover a horrible truth after deciphering a warning from a video log of the Event Horizon's crew going insane and mutilating each other. They deduce that the ship's gravity drive successfully opened a gateway in space-time, but leapt outside the known universe and into another dimension, described as "a dimension of pure chaos, pure evil" (and strongly implied to be Hell). This resulted in the Event Horizon gaining an evil sentience and telepathic abilities, which resulted in a horrible, bloody outcome.
