5 John Wick Spinoffs We Want To See

There hasn't been much on Halle Berry's Sofia, but what more do we need? If there is a character capable of carrying a solo spinoff film without John Wick, she is already as strong a candidate as any.

All we know is what we can gather from the first two trailers. Sofia seems to have a complicated relationship with John Wick, but for reasons that are not yet clear decides to become reluctant partner. The trailers showed Sofia and John working in perfect tandem with her canine companions.

What would make a hypothetical Sofia spinoff possible is Halle Berry herself. Despite some questionable roles in her post-Oscar career, she is the only actor introduced in this franchise with comparable star power to Keanu Reeves.

She also truly loves the John Wick franchise. According to recent reports, she approached Chad Stahelski, director of all three John Wick titles, asking to be included in John Wick 3 before a script had even been written.

All of this would depend on not only Sofia's fate in Parabellum, but audience's reception to the character. Still, a star eager to be a part of the franchise combined with fans that will surely want more gunfights and puppy kills is reason enough for this spinoff.
