5 Major Reveals From The First Captain America: Civil War Promo Art

5. Captain America's Team

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is a lot smaller than the world in the comic books that it's based on, but even if it featured as many heroes and villains, you have to believe that a two hour movie would never have been able to tell a satisfying story with so many characters to focus on. As a result, the fairly small teams here aren't that surprising, but the sides chosen most definitely are. Joining Captain America are The Falcon, Hawkeye, Ant-Man, Agent 13, and The Winter Soldier. The Falcon and Bucky joining their best friend makes perfect sense, though the latter being an actual part of the team is definitely a twist seeing as the majority would have assumed that he would really be a background player in this movie, possibly serving as the reason for at least some of the conflict between Cap and Iron Man. Why would Ant-Man and Hawkeye join Steve Rogers? Well, they're both fathers, and so no doubt see being registered with the government as a risk to their children, especially as Clint Barton has so far managed to keep his family a secret and Scott Lang's identity isn't public knowledge. Agent 13 being so prominently featured is another shocker. Barely a supporting player in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Sharon Carter is clearly going to take on a much larger role in this movie, and that will include being a core member of Steve's Avengers team. Will Civil War find time for the two to find romance? That remains to be seen. This is a very human team though, and that could mean they find themselves out gunned by Iron Man's forces...
