5 Major Reveals From The First Captain America: Civil War Promo Art

4. Iron Man's Team

If Captain America's team is all about the regular people of the Marvel Universe, it appears as if Iron Man's is going to take on a slightly more technological approach, something which is obviously rather fitting. Joining the Armoured Avenger are War Machine, The Vision, Black Panther, and Black Widow. The latter deciding not to side with Steve - who she formed a bond with in The Winter Soldier - and long time ally Hawkeye signals a major change in her outlook, especially as she wasn't in the least bit willing to help the government when they called her in to answer for S.H.I.E.L.D.'s fall. It also seems like she's been enhanced here with the batons which didn't really end up factoring into Avengers: Age of Ultron despite being heavily featured in the trailer. You have to believe Tony Stark will have helped her with those. War Machine has always worked closely with the government (even when it meant turning against his friend for a brief spell), so him being part of this team is to be expected. It's been rumoured that T'Challa becomes Black Panther following the murder of his father and inserts himself into this war because of both that and Ultron's use of Wakanda's Vibranium. The fact that Tony was indirectly responsible for the latter could make them reluctant allies, especially as set photos appeared to show the Pather teaming up with Bucky. Finally, there's The Vision. Loyal to Tony as J.A.R.V.I.S., why he would decide that the registration of heroes is for the best is hard to say, though it could just be that the android sees it as the logical move for The Avengers if they hope to protect the world. Personally, I'd put my money on him being the one to switch sides.
