Steve Rogers is a man of action, and so plenty of fans were eager to hear what he’d been up to in the years between Civil War and Infinity War. Although we don’t really get an answer in the film (aside from maybe hanging around in dimly lit train stations) the comic Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War Prelude reveals just what the good Captain got up too.

After Civil War, Black Panther apologises to Bucky for his actions across the film, and offers to help him remove the Hydra mental conditioning from his brain. Captain accompanies the both of them to Wakanda, and frees his teammates from The Raft on route. He then continues to fight in the shadows alongside Natasha Romanoff and Sam Willson, taking down a terrorist group smuggling Chitauri weapons into the United States and keeping tabs on all members of the original team should anyone need help.
