5 Mega-Stars Who Started In Films That Nobody Saw

1. Leonardo DiCaprio - Critters 3

Now Scorsese's muse and one of Hollywood's most popular and acclaimed leading men, Leonardo DiCaprio has come a long way from debuting in a shoddy horror sequel as a teenager. We all have to start somewhere, and luckily for DiCaprio, the only place he could go from Critters 3 was up, because even by horror sequel standards it's pretty poor. Being released directly to video meant very few people ever saw it, and I imagine DiCaprio would like to keep it that way, though there has been an increase in viewership of the film since DiCaprio became a mega-star because everybody's a completest. Starting in low-budget horror movies isn't unusual for actors, and if they do anything it's that they offer actors work when there's not a lot else going so have a necessary place in the industry. DiCaprio is a true Hollywood success as just two years later he was being Oscar nominated for his role in What's Eating Gilbert Grape and he's never looked back. From starting with horror sequels to working with Scorsese, DiCaprio's journey is the one every actor wishes to emulate.
