5 Mouth-Watering Movie Meals (And 5 That Will Make Your Stomach Churn)

1. Stewed Shoe - The Gold Rush

Chaplin Gold Rush Boot Big Jim and The Tramp's "Thanksgiving Feast" is surely as grim as they come. Chaplin literally gets the heel of this dish. After picking through the nails, he abandons the knife and fork and bites into the thick, rubbery texture of the sole of the dish before following it with a side of lace, which he elegantly curls like spaghetti and slurps down. Big Jim's body of the show is basically a lump of pork fat without the flavour, but probably one tenth of the calories, so that's something. Leathery and black as the night, it combines the worst of LaMotta's steak and Precious' pigs' feet and makes you want to chow down on them in the hope they'll take your mind of this most stomach churning of movie meals. I now review restaurants alongside film and the greatest rarity – the food ‘n’ film crossover. Let your imaginations run wild as you mull on what that might look like!
