4. What Are You Staring At, F***er? (Me, Myself & Irene)
When Charlie Baileygates - a Rhode Island State Trooper with advanced delusionary schizophrenia with involuntary narcissistic rage - is asked to escort a woman named Irene Waters from Rhode Island to Massena, New York, all is going as well as can be expected until he leaves behind his medication in a motel room. Without his medication, Charlie sporadically changes in to his alter-ego Hank Evans. Hank is crass, crude, socially repugnant, confrontational and downright violent. Whilst in a diner getting a spot of lunch, with Irene away from the table, a young boy turns and looks at Charlie whilst innocently supping on his drink. Charlie smiles, as a civilised human being would do. And then he turns in to Hank. Hank immediately says to the boy "what are you staring at, f***er?" before approaching him as if he wants to start a fight, forcing Irene to calm things down.
