3. John Rambo - Rambo Franchise
Put into a real life scenario and John Rambo wouldn't have lived through the events of the first movie let alone the following three. Through four Rambo movies, the eponymous Vietnam veteran slays hundreds of men without barely taking a scratch in the process. Even when confronted with entire armies packing heavy artillery, Rambo conquers all with nothing but a scowl on his face and a machine gun with a seemingly unlimited amount of ammunition. Whilst he may be a battle hardened veteran who knows his way around the field of combat, the numbers game is against him and even the greatest soldier cannot defeat entire armies of trained soldiers virtually single-handedly. The odds are just too much to overcome, but if Rambo never survived the first film then Sylvester Stallone couldn't have made three entirely pointless and awful sequels, diminishing his legacy emphatically.
