5 Movie Villains Whose Punishments Were Far Too Severe

Doc Ock, what a tragic character. Spider-Man 2 does a lot to flesh out this character who is regrettably fairly drab in the comics. Alfred Molina's portrayal transformed 'Ock' into a tragic scientist as opposed to a two bit crook with a bowl cut and an awkward back-pack. Ock may be one of the greatest film villains from the 00's because he is a good guy corrupted into doing bad things.

Lets take a look at his crimes; a dedicated husband; a humanitarian scientist; a pioneer in the field of renewable energy. The man's a saint except for those niggling problems of almost burning the earth in a sun and robbing a bank. All in all I deem it a tad too severe to have him drown to death as his skin melts from his body under the heat of a fledgling star. Still, I guess therein lies the tragedy.
