4. Magic Mike (2012)
This one isn't even tying to be subtle - it is genuinely about glistening men's abs and very little else. Granted, this time there are a few other people's abs involved, but seeing as Matthew McConaughey's character Dallas is the guy in charge of the ab parade, his abs are the most important abs in the whole movie. The film is about Channing Tatum's abs (decent) and Matt McConaughey's abs (glorious) dancing and fighting for screen time and recognition from obviously baying female movie viewers across the globe; meanwhile Alex Pettyfer's abs (terrible) learn some lessons about growing up and nearly ruin everything for everyone. Eventually McConaughey's abs turn out to be mean (but they win the screen time contest because they're better), so Channing Tatum's abs go off and do something else, claiming they don't want to be exposed for money anymore. Wait, was there something else? Oh yeah, something about male strippers, a furniture making business, and someone's sister flipping out about something. Then there's a conclusion about life - but it's mostly about the abs. Abs.
