3. Goodfellas
What is there to be said about Goodfellas besides the fact it is one of the best movies ever made. Thankfully, networks have realized this and you can find the (censored) classic on quite often. The late great Roger Ebert named this Martin Scorsese masterpiece the "best mob movie ever," and since that review the movie has become a cultural icon, so there is absolutely no shame in watching this movie every time it airs. You watch Goodfellas to see just how funny Joe Pesci really is. You watch Goodfellas for Martin Scorsese's incredible direction. You watch Goodfellas to see Karen go crazy on the whore living in 2R. You watch Goodfellas on AMC with added story notes to get back stories from the set. You watch Goodfellas for the incredible narration and the even more incredible soundtrack, but mostly you watch Goodfellas because it's a F**king awesome movie! Enough said.
