5 Movies You'll Complain About But End Up Watching Anyway (And 5 You Shouldn't)

1. Transformers: Age Of Extinction

There almost isn't much to say here as we already know everything wrong with the Transformers collection. The first one wasn't the worst film in the world, then I watched the sequel, and somehow made it through the third like an idiot, and I realized in retrospect that all the Transformer film are awful on so many levels. Bay's arrogance and repulsive personality got the better of us every time. Sexist, racist, and intolerant in so many other regards, Bay has found way to make being a douchebag a film-making formula and marketing it to children and the moms who give them a ride to the cinema. Moviegoers have already criticized the lack of character in the films, and the high amount of focus on the humans instead of the robots. If you haven't already found yourself lost in the mindless explosions that litter even scenes of talking at a dinner table, you are more than likely to wonder why the robots have accents that could find any other person on the proverbial chopping block. I had some hope for Transformers 4 when Bay was considering not returning, at least I heard that rumor or it could have been my dreams, but we should have known that Hollywood's notorious tool could not pass up a paycheck. These movies are making way too much money for the quality that they are and I hope that after the third film we as a film-fan community learned something about indulging films such as Transformers. I loved the source material, I was a kid too, and it's hard to beat the occasional kickass robot, but honestly this really needs to be the Age of Extinction for this franchise...at least for Bay's involvement.
