4. Tale Of The Jedi Temple

Why It Could Be The Title: A few months back, there were a couple of well-reported titles that made their way round the rumour sites. The first and widest was Tale Of The Jedi Temple, which came from an image of an alleged promo card for the film.

It definitely makes plot sense - Han suggested part of the reason Luke disappeared was to search for the first Jedi Temple and it's heavily alluded that Snoke has some bigger, more ancient goals beyond just finding Skywalker - and chimes with us spending more time on Ahch-To. Some have claimed it doesn't quite sound like Star Wars, but it's not really that out there (I refer you back to The Phantom Menace).

Why It Might Not Be: As I said in the intro, it's unlikely the subtitle will have been decided on 100% that early in production, so at best this is one potential title out of many.

There's also the veracity of the rumour's source to consider; the image in question could have been taken anywhere and the logo is exactly the same format as The Force Awakens, both of which could point towards a purposeful fabrication. Add to that that the Jedi Temple allusion comes wholesale from The Force Awakens and it's suddenly a lot less convincing.
