2. Echoes Of The Dark Side

Why It Could Be The Title: Last week, an alleged plot synopsis of Episode VII was posted online and gained quite a bit of traction across the internet. I've not read it, because I'm not a masochist, but I did hear as far as the rumoured title - Echoes Of The Dark Side. Now this certainly fits the Star Wars naming tradition and has a similar structure to the previous title, giving both some credence.

Why It Might Not Be: Well, for all the copy it's stirred up, that leak is probably bullsh*t. There every chance that the entire plot of Episode VIII will be online before it arrives in December 2017 care of set leaks (that happened with The Force Awakens), but for a comprehensive, thematically-complete version to be around now would mean Lucasfilm's now-famed security has some serious cracks in it (that Episode VII one came from May 2015, was sketchy on Han's death and had some major variations from the truth).

So if the plot synopsis itself is bollocks, than the title has to be too - the link to The Order Of The Dark Side could easily be a faker being smart and playing into previous rumours.
