1. He Should Make More Films Simply Because He Can
If you have the ability to write and direct your own movies why wouldnt you? How many people get that opportunity? Its an easy thing for me to write because I dont know what Smith feels in his head and his heart. All I know is that he stretched himself creatively with Red State. He should keep going. According to a phone call he had with Jerry Bruckheimer, his forth coming mini-series, Hit Somebody is the best thing hes ever written. The idea of Clerks 3 sounds great to me and if he decides to fund the movie via Kickstarter like he stated, Ill throw a few dollars his way. Smith wants to end his career at the twenty year mark and I hope its not because hes listening to his critics. His critics never got it. From a true believer, I hope that Clerks 3 isnt the last cinematic endeavor from a guy from New Jersey who made it funny to be a fanboy. Agree? Disagree? Leave a comment below.
