Yes, The Dark Knight Rises had its many many flaws and it wasn't the conclusion we had hoped for (just look at the user reviews on RT to see how much it was loved). However, this is the man that has always went above and beyond to amaze and baffle audiences, without ever losing sight of the story or the characters in an blend of CGI or set pieces. Nolan is a director that understands cinema and what works and what doesn't, with him helping out and offering adivce, it could be Zack Snyder's best work yet. His name attached to the film at least assures us of a coherent well thought out story that won't tarnish the legacy of the character. Speaking of which...
