1. The Superman Legacy Can't Sink Any Lower
At the risk of tempting fate, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that there is no way that this film could be worse than the vapid Superman III or the equally horrendous Superman IV: The Quest for Peace. This film
has to bring back some of the characters lost credibility, as it's a franchise that has seen the bottom of the barrel and been given another shot. The film isn't following on from the Dark Knight or The Avengers, it's a reboot that is trying to wash the taste of Bryan Singer from our mouths, as Superman Returns proved that even a solid cast, music, script and director doesn't guarantee a solid film, as the film had so many issues and problems that it's impossible to list them all. (Though it was mainly Stalker Superman) And even if all the above aspects don't gel together, and the cast are rubbish, the music turgid and the direction flaccid, at least Zack Snyder can rest assured that he is still a better director than Richard Lester. Kind of.
Looking forward to Man Of Steel? Or think it's franchise beyond saving? Let us know in the comments below.
