3. A Vast Pool Of Potential Actors

As Matt Aspin discussed last year, there is a veritable plethora of potential actors who could play He-Man in the modern era. Liam Hemsworth would be my personal pick, but Matt also mentioned his brother Chris, Josh Holloway, Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson - all fine picks, depending on how any potential film-makers would want to portray the character. If he's going to be suave, someone in the mould of a Hemsworth brother would be ideal. If he's going to have snappy dialogue, an actor like Ryan Reynolds could be perfect. And if they just want a big muscular guy with tonnes of charisma, then Dwayne Johnson or someone similar would work just as well. Regarding other characters, Frank Langella is a hard act to follow, but the right actor playing Skeletor could become as iconic as Tom Hiddleston in his role as Loki. Add in a rough and ready action star in the Man-At-Arms role and a gorgeous actress playing Teela and the recipe for an epic cast of characters begins to formulate - and we're not short of potential actors or actresses to fill any of those roles in the current cinematic world.
