How long have we nerds been waiting for his return? Since Indy 4 never really happened, it's been over two decades since we've gotten a Harrison Ford role like the ones of our childhood. This time around he appears to be combining the grumpy sourpuss roles of the latter half of his career with the gruff, take no prisoners roles of the first half. I don't think we could ask for a better combination. And lets also take into account the recent changes in Mr. Ford's demeanour. Long known as a recluse who made concerted efforts to avoid the press and the glaring lights of celebrity, he has recently begun to come out of his shell. He was even seen cracking jokes and poking fun at himself at this year's Comic-Con. This bodes well for his involvement with Ender's Game. An engaged Harrison Ford is not likely to mail in his performance as Colonel Graff. He's perfect for the role. Besides, Harrison Ford + Space = Victory. As a species, we have evolved to survive. And the way we do that is by straining and straining and, at last, every few generations, giving birth to genius. Colonel Graff
