1. No Jim Carrey
The question is this; does this one negative reason outweigh all of the positives? The answers is... quite possibly. Jim Carrey's 51 years old and, as a general rule, reboots mean replacing an actor, so it wouldn't matter if he was still young enough to portray Ipkiss anyway - the fact is he's not going to be a part of any potential Mask reboot. The idea of replacing Carrey in the role of the Mask would be a very daunting prospect for any actor and that could prove itself to be a massive stumbling block for a prospective new instalment.
