1. Ice To See You!
Every single line uttered by Arnold Schwarzenegger in this movie is absolutely wonderful. Are they all clever? No. Do they all flow easily off the tongue? Not at all. Do they all make sense? Not even a little bit; but once you learn to enjoy his portrayal of Mr Freeze for what it is, an ice based pun machine, this becomes exceptionally entertaining. Hitting out with such timeless classics as; "you're not sending me to the cooler"; what killed the dinosaurs? The Ice Age and My name is Freeze, learn it well, for it is the chilling sound of your doom! Arnold Schwarzenegger, despite his best efforts, delivers the finest performance of the picture and gives us all a reason to watcheven if this reason is to laugh openly. So there you have it. While these observations may not make Batman and Robin an instant classic, or even particularly good, it should bring one thing into perspective: it's not that much worse than Batman Forever.
