If you're not familiar with Geoff Johns, he's effectively living every nerd's dream. To being with, he had the incredible opportunity of writing comic books professionally, working on titles including The Flash, Green Lantern, and Superman.

You know, some obscure DC properties who absolutely no one is familiar with. Now he serves as the president and chief creative officer of DC Comics. He's got the job we can only dream of.

It's reassuring then, that such a passionate fan of comic books has now made a point of personally overseeing the DCEU. After the relative disappointing reviews and box office results of Batman v Superman, Johns announced that he the DCEU would be his personal project. He wants to be to DC what Kevin Feige is to Marvel, and wouldn't you rather have a comic book fan in that position than a corporate suit?

We all talk about how differently we'd do things as fans, now an actual fan is in charge. If he can't do it better, then who can?
