5 Reasons Why The Lone Ranger Isn't As Bad As You Have Heard

4. It's Funny

lone-ranger-funny The Lone Ranger is a movie that plays with tone. Much like the Pirates of the Caribbean films and the Indiana Jones series, the tone frequently shifts from serious to rip-rollicking adventure quickly and without apology. It also includes dialogue that is hilariously funny and interchanges between the characters are quirky and amusing. Not all jokes hit the target every time, but the levity is there to counterbalance the at-times seriousness of the subjects at hand. I saw the film with my dad who is a fan of the original series from the 50's, and he loved the amount of humour. That was one of the first things he commented to me when we were talking about the movie afterward.
