a single man Tom Ford€˜s beautifully shot film that focuses on a grieving English professor George Falconer (Colin Firth) after the abrupt death of his boyfriend. After one year of constant devastation he decides to end it all making us journey through and view his last day on Earth. Taking place over the course of a one day A Single Man is a beautifully told; romance, isolation and the connection between human beings. Upon preparations to his suicide George realises the last day on earth becomes the most day he ever lived since the loss of his love. The Moment of Tears: Rainy night waiting for the call from the boyfriend but he€™s late. Then the phone rings. We all know that€™s not him calling. George answers the phone and discovers that his lover has been killed in a car accident as well as their two dogs. Stunned, numb and silent we just see a heartbroken George sit there utterly devastated.
