1. Chris Pratt - Zero Dark Thirty (2012)
As a cast member on a wonderful show that continues to grow in popularity (Parks and Recreation), and an upcoming role in one of the biggest films of 2014 (Guardians of the Galaxy), Chris Pratt is an ever-rising star in Hollywood right now. Still not quite the A-lister, however, it would be easy to miss him in the Oscar-nominated CIA thriller Zero Dark Thirty. Not just because he only appears in the last 40 minutes, but because he looks pretty bloody different to his out of shape slob character from Parks and Recreation, Andy, who we're used to watching bumble about. Pratt is intimidating as US Navy SEAL Justin, one of a small team sent into Pakistan to take down Americas most wanted terrorist, Osama Bin Laden. Pratt owns the screen when he's present, showing both comedic timing and rough and tumble grittiness when needed. This is good news for Guardians of the Galaxy fans, which will hopefully act as a launching pad of sorts when it comes to getting the immensely talented Pratt into a lot more Hollywood movies.
