3. G. Gordon Godfrey
Glorious Godfrey, or the "master manipulator" of the wretched planet Apokolips, ruled by the evil tyrant Darkseid, was sent to Earth in the form of G. Gordon, a mouthpiece spewing hate and preaching contempt for Superman - not at all different from a real-life Rush Limbaugh lambasting President Obama over talk radio daily today - but Gordon was so masterful he was able to convince a subdued public to take up arms against Superman. Godfrey and Darkseid's next phase unfurls by bonding the willing humans with Apokolips tech to create "war hounds" to battle an assuredly-conflicted Superman. This would be a great catapult for a war-torn Metropolis populous to be under the spell of the hypnotic ravings of a maddened Godfrey leading to a Darkseid-armed human lynch mob to take shape after the tragic events at the conclusion of the final battle of Man Of Steel, setting the stage for Darkseid while calling for Superman to redeem himself before a brainwashed humanity.and with astute fans still finding Easter Eggs in Man Of Steel, we know WGBS is quickly glimpsed at, perhaps alluding to a greater Darkseid presence in future films.
