The majority of Batman fans - and comic fans in general - have made it abundantly clear that they don't want Ben Affleck to portray the caped crusader in the recently announced Batman and Superman movie (to the extent that there's actually a petition being prepared to send to Warner Brothers). However, I'm a bit bored of the criticism, to be honest. While I may not be 100% convinced about his casting, I'm prepared to give the guy a chance and think that there are far more important issues to take in to account that could ruin the film for everyone. Putting arguably the two most iconic heroes in comic book history together on the big screen brings with it a whole host of risks that Warner Brothers and DC must avoid and, in this particular case, they are more than evident.
