4. A Psylocke-Angel Romance

With so many relationships (long-term or otherwise) within the comic book landscape, it's easy to forget all but the most iconic. Long-term X-Men Psylocke and Angel shared a romance more than once in the comics (though none have ever culminated in a stable, long-lasting relationship), but fans of the pairing are likely to be disappointed when the movie releases.

Both mutants are contemporaries in the source material, and are the same age give or take a couple years. However, Angel's actor, Ben Hardy, is 24 years old while Psylocke, Olivia Munn, is 35, and although May-December romances aren't unheard of, they're not the most common. Especially when the older of the two is the woman.

Keeping that in mind, it's likely we're not going to see the great Psylocke/Angel love story revisited next year on screen.
