1. Captain America (1990)
Starring Matt Salinger (son of JD "Catcher in the Rye/I have no son" Salinger) and a Red Skull who's Italian for some reason, the 90s Captain America movie comes from one of Marvel's earlier attempts at dominating Hollywood. Except back then it wasn't fuelled by pure imagination, more by the company being bankrupt and trying to sell Hollywood the rights to whatever character they liked, for however much they fancied. That's why we got the infamous, unreleased Fantastic Four film by Roger Corman (which cropped up as a running joke in the fourth season of Arrested Development), David Hasselhoff as Nick Fury in a made-for-TV movie, and this piece of garbage which racked up a staggering 9% on Rotten Tomatoes. However it turns out, if you watch The Winter Soldier after this film, it'll look like an absolute masterpiece by comparison.
