Why hes an Ultimate Badass: From taking on a skyscraper full of terrorists, an airport full of terrorist and a city full of terrorist, it seems no battlefield is large enough to contain John McClane. McClanes raison dêtre is improvising his way out impossible situations; hes jumped off the top of a skyscraper, jettisoned from an exploding cockpit, surfed a semi truck through a water-filled tunnel, drove a car into a helicopter and too top it all off punched a jet to death.
