5 Upcoming 2014 Films We Can't Wait to See

4. The Good Dinosaur - Pixar/Disney (May 30th)

Not much is known about this upcoming Pixar film, other than the intended release date, and a brief idea of the plot. The Good Dinosaur is a film set in a world where dinosaurs never became extinct. Definitely an interesting concept€ though is it just me or are dinosaurs kind of a 90€™s thing? Maybe it€™s about time for a comeback? It€™s my opinion that Pixar films are slowly becoming more and more average. In recent years, the only really good Pixar film has been €œToy Story 3€. Cars 2 was abysmal and Brave was alright (though very traditional Disney and not as ground-breaking as Pixar is usually known for). I am worried that Pixar is slowly losing its touch, especially with the amount of sequels they are producing (though I€™d really love to see an Incredibles 2). I am keeping my fingers crossed for Monster University, expected at the end of this year, though from what I€™ve seen so far (and my general dislike of prequels) I€™m not holding my breath. Before The Good Dinosaur is released (if it ever actually is, see €œNewt€) expect a film set in the inside of a girls mind, and after The Good Dinosaur, a film centered on the Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos directed by Toy Story 3€™s Lee Unkrich and then Finding Nemo 2. Keeping my eyes and ears open for any more updates about The Good Dinosaurs€ let€™s just hope it€™s better than Disney€™s animated film, Dinosaur (but expect it to be a lot better animated).

I am a recent Screenwriting for Film and Television graduate from the UK. I am an unashamed geek who loves everything Marvel, and anything Joss Whedon has ever touched (except for maybe Alien Resurrection and Titan A.E). My current favorite TV shows are Breaking Bad, Family Guy, House of Cards, Game of Thrones, American Horror Story, Homeland and Glee. I look forward to debating things with all of you in the future.
