5 Upcoming 2014 Films We Can't Wait to See

1. Kill Bill Vol. 3 - Directed by Quentin Tarantino (Unknown 2014)

Rumored as far back as 2004 (have I really been waiting this long) Kill Bill was intended to be a trilogy apparently from the very beginning, and Quentin Tarantino has stated that Kill Bill Vol. 3 will be his 9th film after Django Unchained. There are also rumors that there will be a forth film, but it€™s probably too early to be excited for this, and Quentin Tarantino has yet to confirm this. Tarantino described the plot as focusing on Nikki (Copperhead€™s daughter in the first film) who, raised by Sofie Fatale, will finally get revenge on The Bride for what she did to her mother. Apparently Quentin even shot a couple of scenes for this upcoming film when he shot the original film, so he could get shots of the actress who played Nikki when she was young. Expect to see Daryl Hannah reprise her role as Ellie Driver, who is now completely blind. I bet she€™s pissed and I wonder if she will be any sort of threat? And of course expect to see The Brides grown up daughter B.B. Will the Bride have trained her in the ways of the Samurai? Only time will tell (unless you€™ve heard anything I haven€™t€ which isn€™t unlikely). But for two obvious reasons don't expect to see Bill back in this film. Quentin Tarantino€™s films have never disappointed me, and even his least loved films, Jackie Brown and Death Proof were riots, and in my opinion, instant classics. He is also a fantastic writer (see Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs and True Romance€ if you already haven€™t, or you just want to watch really good films again). Expect this to at least match the first two films, though topping the first will be incredibly challenging. He€™s had so long to think about this, and seems so excited about finally starting production, that if this is anything less than amazing I will be completely shocked. Kill Bill 2 however was a bit (just a little) disappointing so maybe there is a little reason to be scared. Have I missed anything significant out? Dawn of the Planet of the Apes of Maleficent perhaps? I bet none of you are all that excited for Transformers 4 which is set to feature a whole new line up of characters (in order to sell lots of children€™s toys) are you? Please tell me what films you are most excited for in the comments section below, and why I am an idiot (if you think I am) for being excited about the films I have suggested.

I am an unashamed geek who loves everything Marvel, and anything Joss Whedon has ever touched (except for maybe Alien Resurrection and Titan A.E). My current favorite TV shows are Breaking Bad, Family Guy, House of Cards, Game of Thrones, American Horror Story, Homeland and Glee. I look forward to debating things with all of you in the future.
