5 Upcoming Literature-Based Movies We Can't Wait To See

1. The Motel Life

Featuring Emile Hirsch and Stephen Dorff, The Motel Life is a story about two brothers, Frank and Jerry Lee, who are forced to flee after a terrible accident. This time we've gone a little more recent than the previous entries: the film is based on a novel by Willy Vlautin that only debuted in 2006, which to us seems like ages ago now, but in the literary world might as well be last Friday. Vlautin has nowhere near the high status of people like Jack Kerouac or William Faulkner (obviously), but his book did receive good feedback from critics, and having actors like Dorff and Hirsch on board for the movie means that we wouldn't be stupid to think that this one might be worth watching. After glimpsing the trailer, it looks like Hirsch has got similar acting shoes on to the ones he wore for Into The Wild, which can only signify good things. Have we missed any?
