3. Count Nefaria
Painfully underused in the comics, Nefaria is one of the few individuals to have fought against an entire Avengers roster on his own - even casually stopping Thor's swing of Mjolnir with one hand. He's the archtype of the traditional super-powered being, boasting flight, super-strength and durability, super-speed and optic blasts. I think of him as Marvel's evil version of Superman and would love to see more of him - so why not on the big screen? Nefaria, who first appeared on panel in 1965, was an ordinary human until he was exposed to an experiment being carried out by Dr. Kenneth Sturdy. Sturdy was one of Baron Zemo's scientists. And with Zemo himself being a regular villain to both Captain America and the Avengers as a whole, there is a legitimate route that film-makers could take to introduce the Count in to the cinematic universe.
