5 Ways Marvel Could Bring Daredevil Back Into The MCU

The Multi-Verse Of... Hell's Kitchen??

Thanks to being monstrously successful, you'd be hard pressed to find even a trailer as heavily discussed as an MCU trailer, outside of maybe a Christopher Nolan film.

The hype around these films is largely due to the character in question, and there are few superheroes in either Marvel or DC that are as interesting as Daredevil, the lawyer-turned-horned-vigilante who defends the Hell's Kitchen region of New York City.

The Man Without Fear is widely regarded as one of the coolest street-level Marvel heroes, and he had his own acclaimed series on Netflix that ran for three solid season before being unceremoniously canned. The show still (arguably) takes place within the MCU due to some references in the show to events and characters in the films, so it shouldn't be that hard, right?

Admittedly, DD had a movie spin-off in 2003 starring Ben Affleck in the title role, but the show was much more warmly received, so it makes sense to bring the character from that series back in some manner.

So, in that vein, here are the best ways Marvel could rescuscitate their blind badass in proper MCU form.

5. Revive The Defenders

It wasn't only Daredevil that got the chop from Netflix, as really the entire squad that made up The Defenders got hit by it as well. Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones... all unfortunate casualties.

The one season of Defenders had decent reception and there are definitely more stories to tell with the team; why not use this opportunity to bring everyone back in one fell swoop? Seeing Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones bicker with Matt was one of the highlights, and witnessing the team really pull together to face a greater threat was obviously joyful.

So with the popularity of Daredevil having never gone away, if they wanted to revive the character they have a chance to do so, alongside the rest of the Marvel Netflix team. This would warrant a bigger story (which Marvel likes) and a team up, another thing they can't do enough of. Who knows, we could even get Iron Fist in his original costume alongside the Devil of Hell's Kitchen.

Daredevil was the most successful out of the Netflix Marvel properties, so it makes the most sense to bring him back. But if Marvel wanted, there is an opportunity to make him part of something bigger again.
