5 Ways Marvel Could Bring Daredevil Back Into The MCU
3. Introduce Him To Black Widow
As Black Widow looks set to take the venomous spider-themed heroine out for a solo spin, fans are curious if that means Florence Pugh's character Yelena Belova could be made the next Black Widow for future MCU installments. If this is the case, why not include DD?
Sure, it would be a relationship between them instead of Matt and Natasha as the comics have established, but it's still a strong method of connecting DD to the wider universe and giving Belova something else to juggle besides being a super spy assassin lady. It would also allow Murdock to try his luck in love with someone other than damaged investigator Karen or psychotic stabber Elektra.
Die-hard comic fans may be put off, but it would be a logical step for both Daredevil's MCU career and the continuation of the Black Widow character. It allows DD's intro to the wider Marvel universe, brings potentially interesting development for Belova and establishes a well known yet slightly unique romance to the world of Marvel heroes.
Who knows, there may be a space lined up in the New Avengers for DD if Belova really likes him.
