5 Ways To Make The Justice League Movie Great
3. The Story
I have always been a fan of the above story. I think it really could be the direction the Justice League films could take considering recent announcements. For those unfamiliar with The Tower Of Babel story, it involves Batman coming up with contingency plans for every member of the JLA if they ever went rogue. Ra's Al Ghul then steals these plans and attempts to execute it to devastating effect.
It would tie beautifully into the upcoming Batman vs. Superman storyline. With all these super-powered beings beginning to show up on Earth, of course Batman is going to find out eveything he possibly can about them in case they have evil motives.
Whatever the outcome is for Batman vs. Superman, it would make sense to follow this story either way into the JLA. Whether or not this could be spread into a trilogy or a single film I'm not sure. However, I have always found that trilogies that revert back to the beginning in the final act turn out to be the most interesting.
While of course there is plenty of material to choose from regarding a JL storyline, all we ask as an audience is to not rush this part of the film. DC seem to be moving things in place extremely quickly as of late and that hardly ever works out. The Avengers showed that a good balanced story can be told with larger than life individuals. Please don't just throw our favorite superheroes on screen for the sake of competing with Marvel. Don't expect us to love a rush job.
