5 Winners And 5 Losers From SDCC 2014

1. Fantastic Four

Fantastic Four Reboot Forget Doctor Strange, forget Spider-Man, and forget Marvel's Netflix shows. They have the excuse of not arriving for quite some time, giving them bright SDCC futures. Fox, on the other hand, completely dropped the ball on Fantastic Four, by not bringing it to the convention at all, despite the fact that it hits theaters in less than a year, on June 19, 2015. That means that SDCC 2014 was Fox's only chance to bring the titular superhero family to audiences that were ready and willing to give them a chance. Now, they'll have to battle the negative press and opinions already circling the film the hard way, with individual announcements and footage releases throughout the year, all the while competing with superhero projects that actually were at the convention. Fox really had no excuse to not bring Fantastic Four to San Diego. The movie's been filming for a few months now, it has an all-star cast and good director, and it's been generating a lot of bad press lately, which is something that you'd think the studio would want to nip in the bud. Well, apparently not, because instead they decided to devote their time to Let's Be Cops, which isn't even based on a comic or pre-established property. Because that makes total sense. Tell us, how do you feel about this year's San Diego Comic-Con? Were you happy with what was revealed, or were your expectations not met this year? Let us know in the comments below, and make sure to weigh in on who you thought "won" SDCC.
