Kenneth Branagh directs a live-action take on the classic fairytale, with the lovely Lily James taking the central role. However, if the trailer released is any indication, this movie very much belongs to its supporting cast, namely Cate Blanchett as Lady Tremaine and Helen Bonham Carter as the Fairy Godmother, both of whom are hamming it up for the cheap seats. If it doesn't take itself too seriously (which it doesn't appear to be), this could be a riotous, glossy update of the iconic tale. Release Date: March 13th
