This is a fairly unique entry on this list (and perhaps it doesn't belong here). This is a potential film that turned into a comic book series after said potential film never materialized. Freddy Vs. Jason Vs. Ash is a six-issue comic book limited series that ran from 2007 to 2008. It was published by Wildstorm (DC Comics) and Dynamite Entertainment. Written by James Kuhoric and illustrated by Jason Craig, the story serves as a sequel to 2003's Freddy Vs. Jason and Sam Raimis Evil Dead trilogy. Right around the time that Raimi became a huge deal in Hollywood after the success of Spider-Man, he had a meeting with Bob Shaye of New Line Cinema, who was apparently quite serious about having these three horror icons face off onscreen. The stories vary, but for whatever reason this premise never materialized other than in comic form.
