50 Greatest Action Movies Of All Time

23. Ong-Bak (2003)

Crank 2

Tony Jaa burst onto the scene a decade ago thanks to this bruising, high-impact martial arts movie. While his career hasn't lived up to the "new Bruce Lee/Jackie Chan" comparisons that followed in Ong-Bak's wake, it remains one of the most visceral and exciting fight movies ever made.

Jaa's incredible ability to wreak havoc with his fists, feet, elbows, knees and inanimate objects result in a series of bone-crunching scraps, not to mention the actor's astonishing physicality. Without a doubt, Ong-Bak is the greatest movie in history to feature a man set his legs on fire and kick someone in the face.

I don't do social media, so like or follow me in person but please maintain a safe distance or the authorities will be notified. Don't snap me though, I'll probably break. I was once labelled a misogynist on this very site in a twenty paragraph-long rant for daring to speak ill of the Twilight franchise. I stand by what I said, it's crap.
