Not only is this a razor-sharp horror comedy filled with potent scares and laughs but it's a genuine masterpiece of storytelling that, right until the very end, never stops coming up with outstanding twists and turns.
Truly, this is one of the most inventive horror films ever made, and the excellent cast (Franz Kafka, Richard Jenkins and Bradley Whitford steal the show), hilarious characters and sublime set-pieces only send the film soaring even higher. This really is horror cinema on a whole 'nother level.
