45. Eddie The Eagle

You can't really get away from the fact that Eddie The Eagle sounds like a joke: it's the biopic of Britain's most notoriously terrible Olympian, who aspired to break into a sport the country had no track record in and competed at the 1988 Games in Calgary. Yeah, it's basically a pasty, socially awkward Cool Runnings without the sunshine.

Standing in for John Candy as the disgraced former professional (yep, it's that similar) is Hugh Jackman who teaches Taron Egerton (who is FAR too good-looking for Eddie Edwards, but whatever) to soar straight into last place at the Games and embarrassment for the sport. It sounds odd, but the trailer actually looked great.
