50 Most Anticipated Movies Of 2018 - Ranked

Shane Black may be something of an acquired taste, but he is absolutely the right man to be turning his nostalgic fetish for old school action movies to the rebirth of the Predator franchise.

Armed with an excellent cast - including Game of Thrones' Alfie Allen, Moonlight's Trevante Rhodes and Logan's Boyd Holbrook - Black should bring his eye for spectacle, black humour and swagger to a franchise in need of some TLC. Sure, Predators was good in its own way, but this has the potential to kick-start the franchise.

And hopefully, the fact that Fox shifted it back out from its February release date to the start of August suggests they actually think it's good. So that's a start at least.
