Some more cynical commenters might suggest that it's harder to get excited about Will Smith movies than it's ever been, but the fact remains that he's still a Hollywood favourite with Aladdin and Gemini Man both coming in 2019.

The latter is Ang Lee's latest project - a sci-fi starring Smith alongside Clive Owen, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Benedict Wong, in which he plays an aging assassin who finds his way out of his career barred by a younger, cloned version of himself. How's that for answering the question of who you greatest foe would be? A villain able to predict your every move has got to be up there.

Smith's had uneven success with darker movies in recent years, but working with Lee gives him a strong opportunity for a little more depth than we've seen in the likes of Suicide Squad and After Earth, at least.
