You probably didn't ask for a Charlie's Angels reboot, but there are far more movies that nobody asks for out there and some of them end up being as great as Jumanji 2, so maybe don't be so quick to write everything off.

Directed by Elizabeth Banks (who previously made Pitch Perfect 2 and has the intriguing X-Files-riffing The Greater Good on the way too), the reboot stars Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska as the titular heroes, with Banks, Patrick Stewart, and Djimon Hounsou in supporting roles.

It's a brand most screen fans of a certain age will be aware of and it's no bad thing having another female-centric action comedy out there. Particularly with this much talent involved.
