11. Pet Sematary

Not so long ago, the prospect of a Stephen King adaptation wouldn't have excited too many people. Sure, there were greats like The Shawshank Redemption, Stand By Me and The Shining, but there were just way too many that didn't match the quality of the source material (much to King's very public chagrin at times).

But on the back of It's success and some other better adaptations, it seems like we're in a fertile period for King's work and the first trailer for Pet Sematary, which was always one of his most compellingly creepy storiees, added even more promise to hopes of a continued hot streak.

The story of revival after death and possession (the fundamental question of "what if they come back wrong" has never been done better) is great, the cast (Jason Clarke, John Lithgow and Amy Seimetz) is similarly and though the directors are little-known, everything we've seen so far suggests it's going to be a good one.
